Annual Father and Son Breakfast

This year we celebrated our third annual Father and Son breakfast, an event that has become something we look forward to every year. The original event idea started with an initial conversation between Fulton Bank and Brehms Lane Elementary.

The Wells Fargo NeighborhoodLIFT® Program is back in Baltimore! Upwards of $17,500 is available for buyers down payment assistance on a home in Baltimore City.
 
Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore, Wells Fargo, and NeighborWorks America have collaborated to support sustainable homeownership and help advance neighborhood stability by providing down payment assistance and financial education to homebuyers.

Attend the Baltimore NeighborhoodLIFT Launch Event

Advanced registration for this event is now closed, but walk-in appointments may be available and will be scheduled at the event on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability. Attend this event to sign up for homebuyer education programs and find out if you are eligible for upwards of $17,500 in NeighborhoodLIFT down payment assistance on qualified properties. Free admission and free parking is available.

Volocity Flag Football in
Herring Run Park


Monday and Tuesday Evenings

4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Join Volocity Kids Foundation for a weekly summer sport free to kids 5-13 years old. Come prepared to play each week with comfortable athletic gear, your Volo City league provided shirt and a water bottle. After the game, players will be provided with a free post-game snack! Parents are more than welcome to socialize with our volunteers while children eat. Learn More. 

Annual Campscape in
Herring Run Park


Saturday, July 20 - Sunday, July 21
5:00 p.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Taking place Artscape weekend, join Baltimore City Rec and Parks and Friends of Herring Run Park to sleep under the stars for the annual Campout in Herring Run Park. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative campsites. Rec and Parks will host a campfire and marshmallows. Registration is required to reserve your spot. RSVP by emailing molly.gallant@baltimorecity.gov.
