This month we celebrate and support the past, present, and future, of indigenous action and campaigning to protect forests. Featuring inspirational projects and stories from young filmmakers and changemakers in Indonesia and the launch of a community campaign in Brazil.
Meet Kynan Tegar, a 14-year-old, Dayak Iban filmmaker from Sungai Utik, West Kalimantan. Pursuing his passion for photography, videography, nature and learning the in-depth culture of the Iban people, with us, he is launching his debut film 'Mali Umai' about a traditional Dayak Iban farming ceremony and life in the forests of Sungai Utik.
