July tango news gets you in the groove
Dear <<First Name>>

I would love to know that all teachers of tango make teaching tango 'etiquette' a priority. I only know of one school who actually handed out fliers to all students about the importance of floorcraft.

Sydney is where I watch and dance mostly and we seem to be very selfish and egotistic in our dancing - much like we are on the roads! I live very near a large Sydney primary school and even closer to a boys' private school. It's every four-wheel drive for itself at pickup and drop off times and it is dangerous - as it is also a pedestrian precinct. Milonga floors can also be dangerous!

I hope you enjoy this new video I discovered on tango etiquette - I think it is pertinent - and fun - and I hope one or two tango schools will show it at their classes! Wouldn't it be lovely if we could dance on a Sydney milonga floor without fear of the heel spike... or the charging couple?

Continue to keep us up to date with your events as you have the details...despite all the other sources of information, this newsletter's subscription base continues to grow!!

Yours in tango,
Carol
