Volunteers Needed - Come Teach the Kids With Us!

WMRC's Waste Watchers are going back to school, teaching the kids at Dalkeith Primary School how to be waste wise and recycle right! In order for us to spread the message far and wide, we are seeking two talented individuals to join us.
When: Monday, July 1
Where: Dalkeith Primary School
Time: 11:00am - 1:30pm or 1:30- 3:30pm
If you are interested in participating please
email us and tell us in 25 words or less why you would be right for the job and which time slot suits you best (morning or afternoon) plus your contact details.
Volunteer opportunities are a great way to gain work experience in community projects, plus you are also helping local schools reduce their waste.

Coming Soon - Volunteer Survey & Skill Share Session

Following on from our two volunteer feedback sessions we will be soon sending out a volunteer survey as well as information on the first of a series of Skill Sharing Workshops.

The survey and Skill Share Sessions are part of a broader strategy to further develop our volunteer program so that we can maximise the volunteer experience at the WMRC.

The first Skill Sharing Session will focus on how to 'Ace your op shopping with Steve'. So if your wardrobe needs a makeover and you're ready to put the 'op' into 'shop' then
register your interest.
Plus if you have any other ideas or skills to share let us know via
email
