Alley Maintenance is Coming!

The LCMA will be doing some much needed alley maintenance soon; there will be significant resurfacing and repaving during late sumer and early fall this year.

In preparation, please make sure that your shrubs and trees are clear of the alley - no branches or limbs lower than 8 feet should overhang the alley so that the repaving machinery has clear passage.

Take a moment this week to examine and trim your trees around your home, especially over sidewalks, streets, and the alley to provide 8 feet of clear, safe passage for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles.

We had a great turnout at our June Family Concert and Movie Night in Sunset Park! Barnyard Food Truck served up delicious meals and Rocket Ice Cream was on hand with four flavors of scoops. That Eighties Band provided fun music that kept everyone dancing and having fun until Mary Poppins Returns started.

Don't forget, our other family fun night is August 9! It's also National Night Out and we'll be celebrating with community leaders and first responders. Cocotaso Street Snacks will be in Sunset Park from 5:30 serving tacos and paletas; Mr Majestyk's 8-Track Revival will make it a party! There will also be a magician, balloon animals, and a concession stand selling movie snacks. Mark your calendar!

Summer at Hangar 2
There's always something happening at Hangar 2 this summer! Officers Club has a full schedule of live music inside and on the patio. North County has brunch every Saturday and Sunday 10-2; and Rocket Ice Cream has their next Summer Sundaes event on July 14!
