Healthcare in Hard Places

Abrar Syed’s older brother, Azaad, was in remission from liver cancer when he was given an accidental, lethal drug overdose at a hospital in their hometown of Karachi, in Pakistan. Syed joins a host of entrepreneurs working to bring the digital health revolution to historically disadvantaged and hard-to-reach populations. Read how Syed and the founders of access.mobile and Electronic Health Network are fusing together radical collaborations and using emerging technologies like blockchain to tackle access to care, no matter the obstacles.
