Reminder when using your Oils and Vinegars
Important Information
- Only use olive oils on low to medium temperatures
- Olive oil if used on high temperatures will burn, break down, and health benefits diminish
- Alternatives for use on medium to high temperatures are coconut, walnut, grapeseed, and avocado oils
- Balsamic vinegars will burn if brought to a boil too rapidly when making the reduction glaze
- Store oils and vinegars in separate bottles, keep at room temperature and sealed (avoid heat, light, and air especially for oils)
- When combining oils and vinegars, mix 50/50 as a general guide, but you can add more of either depending on your liking
