Dear Friend,

We look forward to seeing you on September 28, when we will come together to commemorate 20 years of improving the health of the underserved in Honduras. Please remember to
purchase tickets by September 1 for this special occasion and enjoy a sneak peek below for the fund-a-need we will feature at the event.

Saturday, September 28
4:30 - 9:00pm

The Winery at Bull Run
15950 Lee Highway
Centreville, VA 20120

Take a peek at our 20th Anniversary Fund-a-Need items below. If you would like to make a donation toward one of these items before the event, please contact us.

  • 3 Pediatric Wheelchairs ($400 each) | For children with severe disabilities and their families, a wheelchair can make all the difference. In the case of Katie, it was a 27-year wait. Support the youngest of our friends in Honduras by helping us provide pediatric wheelchairs for those in need.
  • 2 Emergency Medicine Course Scholarships ($400 each) | Each scholarship will enable one emergency room physician to attend a 3-day, hands-on course in November that we are offering in partnership with UNAH and Project Semilla. The knowledge imparted can help save lives in a country that ranks in the top five worldwide for trauma and homicides, yet only has one emergency medicine trained physician.
  • 2 Automated External Defibrillators ($1250 each) | When a patient is dealing with life-threatening cardiac arrhythmia, every second counts. Help Honduran clinicians respond quickly and deliver life-saving care at public hospitals in Comayagua and Tegucigalpa.
  • 1 Community Health Worker Training ($3000 each) | Trained community health workers are critical to our efforts to help remote villages achieve sustainable health for children, adults and families. Support a 3-day training (including materials, meals, lodging and transportation) for 15 village residents to be provided by Brigade staff using curriculum and modules tailored to the communities that we serve.
