Last week we announced our response to the food-themed selfie palace trend.
This week we're inviting you to join it.

We get inquiries pretty often about how people can get involved in our productions on various levels. Today we are opening up three different ways. Think Tank Gallery & Showroom is seeking the following:
  1. Staff members to help operate the Nothing Cheezy installations and experiences,
     
  2. Artists to fill the walls of our rotating gallery of pizza-themed artworks, and 
     
  3. Local event producers and performers to take over the venue with a variety of different kinds of programming.

We'd love to keep our group connected by inviting in other people from the community that loves this kinda shit.

NOTHING CHEEZY PAID GIGS APPLICATION

 
Our new experience, Nothing Cheezy, is running throughout July and August 2019!
 
Think Tank Gallery & Showroom is hiring staffing for four days each week, for 5+ weeks, and we want to hire our friends and fans. Staff members will handle various tasks: retail management, general gallery management, guest flow management, materials runs, and potentially serving pizza. There will be security guards and our core team to handle pretty much everything else. 
 
We're looking for reliable young folks who love lowbrow art and can get themselves to and from DTLA on a daily basis while accepting $15/hr in compensation plus some extra gallery perks.

TAKE OVER THE NOTHING CHEEZY EXPERIENCE WITH US

 
We've hosted a huge list of crazy events over the years as part of our site-specific art installation buildouts, and all of them came from the minds of new or repeat collaborators. For Nothing Cheezy, we're looking again for local and national producers to add their creativity into the cheesy list of ingredients we got cooking for 5+ weeks of events.

Approved event producers will work directly with our Art Director to take one of our dark days or mornings/evenings when the venue is otherwise empty. Alternately producers may implement their event into our ticketed Nothing Cheezy hours as an added bonus to guests, if the experience is easily integrated. You'll put up a minimum guarantee up front as a retainer, and then we'll split profits. If we really like your event, we'll also promote it on all of Think Tank's channels and the Nothing Cheezy calendar to the public.

NOTHING CHEEZY IS SEEKING SMALL PIZZA-THEMED WORKS


Got a small pizza-themed art piece? Want to make one? Show it at Nothing Cheezy!

We're putting together a rotating exhibition with 20 artworks for a one week show in our showroom/gallery at the entrance to the Nothing Cheezy experience. Your work will be featured alongside other Think Tank, Meow Wolf, Bloody Gums and Pizzaboyzzz artists, and will be for sale with a typical gallery commission.
