6/26/19 – Notification: Weekend paving work
In order to minimize impacts to businesses along the project corridor, crews will be working overnight this weekend to pour concrete on NW Market St between 28th and 24th avenues NW. This work will include paving road and driveway panels at some businesses on the north side of NW Market St.
As a part of this work, you can expect noise from trucks, crews, and equipment on Friday and Saturday nights. We have been granted a noise variance for this work.
The timeline for this work is as follows:
- Work will begin on Friday, June 28
- Pavement demolition will start at 3 PM and should be completed by 10 PM
- Crews will start pouring concrete at 5 PM on Friday and finish by 12 AM on Saturday, June 29
- Work will begin again at 3 PM on Saturday
- Crews will finish pouring concrete by 4 AM on Sunday, June 30
