Hello Startup Ecosystem Developers,

Since the launch of
Startup Ecosystem Rankings Report 2019 that ranks 1,000 cities and 100 countries worldwide, dozens of municipalities and organizations joined us as ecosystem partners and we want to celebrate that! Among our partners, we have smaller locations, like the municipality of Yoqneam in Israel and Chihuahua in Mexico, capital cities in Vilnius and Moscow, as well as economic development organizations in Kingston and Edmonton in Canada.

By ranking 1,000 cities and 100 countries, we aim to name not only the global leaders but smaller locations that are working hard to develop their startup ecosystems too. We, at StartupBlink, are happy to give voice to the smaller startup ecosystems with a huge potential to grow and make them and their activities more visible worldwide.

Rankings endorsed by the press worldwide

Our Startup Ecosystem Rankings Report 2019 was published by hundreds of press outlets and mentioned by top officials all around the world. Here are some of the mentions in English:

  • Russian press discusses Moscow’s jump up to the rankings here.
  • Estonian press raises the concern on Estonia’s startup ecosystem decrease here.
  • Indian press celebrates the country’s spike in rankings here.

Consider joining the Startup Ecosystem Partnership

At StartupBlink we aim to ease startup ecosystem development and increase its international exposure. Dozens of municipalities, economic development centers, universities, and startup leading organizations around the world have joined our Startup Ecosystem Partnership program and are already enjoying the benefits of international promotion of their startup ecosystem and organization, as well as leverage our map and local communities, and the creation and distribution of their ecosystem report. Startup Ecosystem Podcast is soon to go on the air!

Other than that, we are about to launch the Startup Ecosystem Podcast that will focus on stories from startup ecosystem developers and steps they are taking to promote their local startup ecosystems. Also, together with our interviewees, we will cover major trends affecting urban innovation and economic development in a city and country level. We know that you are also helping your local startup ecosystem scene to grow and would love to get in touch with you and talk about it. So stay tuned to find out more and we will get back to you when it is ready!

That’s it for now.

See you soon!
