For a weekend this month, the Pulitzer Center took over the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. for our third annual conference.The focus: religion, how journalists cover it, what we can do better and how we can learn from other journalists, theologians, policymakers, teachers and the public. Throughout the six panels and two workshops on June 8 and 9 at the Beyond Religion Conference, panelists and participants explored the intersection of religion with climate change, global health, conflict and peacebuilding, gender rights, fundamentalism, and more.
