Spread the word! We are inviting everyone to attend a special celebration of this milestone in the life of our young congregation! While it is short notice, there are many moving parts in this situation that this is the date it has to be! Pastor Dar will be here to help me lead a brief service, tents will be set up, snacks and water will be available and we will have a special time where we will:
- Celebrate the story of Jesus!
- Celebrate the story of Praise & Worship!
- Dedicate the land and construction process to the Lord!
- Pray for His protection over the land, the workers, and the ministry!
- Pray for the future of this site and what Jesus will do in us and through us!
We've said it before, but we're not done saying it: we are not building a church on this land.
Jesus has already built the church! He is continuing to build the church! The Church is HIS PEOPLE!
What is this building going to be?
- A GATHERING CENTER (Acts 2:42-47): a place where we come together to be with one another, to receive God's Promises again, to hear about who we are (His children!) to participate in the Lord's Supper and to be renewed in the waterfall of His GRACE!
- A GROWING CENTER (Psalm 1:2-3): a place where learn, where we become like trees planted by streams of water, being equipped so that we can bear His fruit (Galatians 5:22-23)!
- An ENCOURAGING CENTER (Hebrews 10:19-25): We are set free by Jesus! No matter what! But this dark world pushes back against that truth, constantly pulling us down. Therefore this will be a place where we are restored and renewed every time we come here, all through the Resurrection of Jesus and His never-stopping, never giving up, always and forever LOVE!
- A SENDING CENTER (Matthew 28:18-20): Don't GO to church. YOU ARE THE CHURCH. So the "GO" part of the equation is when we LEAVE. We gather so that we can scatter. This is why there is no (and never again will be a) temple in Jerusalem. Jesus is the Temple! And He now lives in each of us! So we are SENT as countless little temples to be the light of the world, we are SENT to shine the light, we are SENT to take what we've been given and SHARE IT!
Call it the building. Call it the HQ. Call it the Sending Center. But Praise & Worship is the church! This will just be the place where she will meet to GATHER, GROW, ENCOURAGE and be sent from to SHARE!
So please join us to celebrate this milestone in our mission as we continue to be a CHRIST-CENTERED, DISCIPLE-MAKING COMMUNITY!

Todd shares these details: "We look forward to getting everyone together who made an impact on dad's life and vice versa. This will be a casual day of celebration, just the way he wanted it. Feel free to arrive anytime after 3 pm. Please bring your own lawn chairs and any drinks you desire. Beer is appropriate. We will have food in the evening if you wish to hang out for a while. We may even have a bonfire. He loved fire and smoke. Hope the weather cooperates! If you have the ability to carpool, please do. If anyone has any other questions please holler! Ben is celebrating with Jesus even as you read this, resting peacefully in His nail-scarred hands! As a member of our family at Praise & Worship, Ben's smile and friendship (and family!) is a gift we continue to enjoy even as we miss him! Come celebrate with us on Saturday!

Administrative Assistant & Event Coordinator

 We are excited to welcome aboard two new teammates for our ministry! Stephanie Bolger as Administrative Assistant and Polly Linneman as Event Coordinator!
Stephanie will help to continue to build and grow our communications to make our emails, worship folders, and announcements more consistent and up to date on a weekly basis and help to devlop our follow-up ministry for next steps!
Polly will help us establish and then maintain a master calendar of events, helping us to coordinate all the goings-on around Praise & Worship!
Both of these positions will help us continue our transition from a new-church-start into a more organized and established group: all so that we can do a better job of gathering, growing, encouraging and sharing!!!
