Notes from the Nurse
- Medications: If your child has medication at school, please pick up prior to the last school day, Jun 27. Any medications not picked up will be destroyed per district policy.
- Students with life-threatening health conditions: Summer packets were sent home with students containing paperwork for the next school year. Regardless of the school they are attending next year, this paperwork is required. Remember to take the paperwork in the summer packet to doctor’s appointments over the summer to obtain new prescriptions for the 2019–2020 school year. Please reach out to your school nurse before school starts in fall 2019.
- Students with missing vaccinations or incomplete records: Please request a current, medically verified immunization record that has documentation of the missing immunizations from your health care provider. Schedule an appointment with your health care provider for the vaccinations that are missing. If a medically verifiable record is not available, check with your provider about options to obtain a titer to check for immunization status or re-vaccination options.
- Read about the risks and responsibilities of not vaccinating.
