WS-79 Painting Skies and Clouds This workshop is for any level student who wants to learn or continue learning how to paint different skies and cloud formations using color, texture and more. Saturday 6/29, 10:30am-3pm, Ages teen-Adult

A-63 Advanced Wheel Throwing This 18-hour class is for the potter who wants to improve their skills on the wheel. We will be working on larger forms, multiple forms, plates, lidded pieces and tea pots. Ask about accessibility options! Wednesdays 6/26-8/7 (no class 7/31), 6:30-9:30pm, 16-Adult

The Ultimate Volunteer Position!

As you probably know, our mission is to provide arts enrichment to the community. We accomplish this through classes, workshops, gallery shows and outreach programs. We use freelance instructors and have a small office staff. Our events, programming, fundraising etc., are all led by board members, often in conjunction with volunteers.

We are currently looking for board members who have the ability to lead and have skills to help us continue our growth and plan for the future. Every board member is expected to chair one event or oversee some aspect of art center operations. We meet the first Monday evening of every month.

If you have an interest in joining the board at the North Hills Art Center, please send a cover letter and resume to our executive director, Kim Freithaler (execdirector@northhillsartcenter.org) with the subject: BOARD MEMBER (all caps please).

On Tuesday, June 18, a wonderful Boy Scout troop from Wexford (Troop 344) and member Tim Szczypinski came to help us with some much needed Garden Maintieniance/Beautification in both the front and back. They planted, spread gravel and mulch, weeded and provided us with many other much needed gardening! We thank you all so much for your efforts! You and your efforts are very much appreciated!
