Hi <<First Name>>

It's great to see some sunshine, it can help us feel so much more positive and cheerful.

Whatever the weather, you'll always get a warm welcome at the Coffee Shop.

We would welcome more volunteers, as the summer holidays approach. It's handy to have some extra helpers to cover volunteers' holidays and to provide support over the school holidays.  It can be an hour or a couple of hours, and you'll be working alongside a member of staff, all help is appreciated.

Please call Pauline if you are able to help, tel: 07799 502199 or email: coffeeshop@haltoncentre.org.

Tomorrow - Thursday 20th June, is the Halton Community Hub. Come and get some useful information from a variety of organisations, ask questions. See below for more details.

If you know someone that would benefit from the information but can't attend, then please come and take a few leaflets for friends and family.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Halton Community Association - Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 3rd July starting at 7.00pm.

The AGM will be followed by light refreshments.

All local residents and regular visitors to the Centre are warmly invited to attend.

It’s an opportunity to meet Halton Community Association (HCA) committee members, look back at the last year, ask what they do and find out about plans for the future.

New people are invited to join the HCA committee. Do come and have a chat. Ideally HCA would like new people who are prepared to take on roles, for example - organising events and helping at events, health & safety and maintenance checks, helping to publicise events e.g. putting up posters in Lancaster, Morecambe and surrounding areas, and sharing your skills and ideas.

Being a committee member is not an onerous task. Meetings are held once a month. When there are some jobs to do it is very useful to share them out among a wider number of people.

The monthly management meeting will start at 7.45pm.

For more information please contact Maureen Richardson: Tel 01524 811316.

Zentangle - Wednesday 10th July, 1-3pm

Zentangle is described as a form of artistic meditation and you don’t need to be the next Van Gogh to do it. It allows you to each create your own pattern using your own style and feelings. A teacher will help guide you throughout this process.

Zentangle is known to relieve stress, increase focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal wellbeing. It is an adaptable tool which can be practised anywhere and at any time, all you need is a pen and paper.
