Welcome to summer! Here is some early summer information for our families.
For our rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade families,
Trimester three final grades are posted through the ASPEN portal by individual classes. To login through ASPEN, please follow this link. If you are locked out of ASPEN, please follow this link. Tomorrow, by 5pm, your child's report card should be available to view. Directions to how to view your child's report card may be found by following this link.
For our rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade families,
Three items: First,

We expect student schedules to be available mid to late July through the ASPEN portal. An email will notify all families when they are made available.
Third,
The end of the school year also kicks off our Summer Reading Program. This summer the theme is reading around the world, and all of the information can be found on the library website.
Our Summer Reading Program has been designed to incorporate CHOICE and FUN...and it supports our efforts to build a community of reading at Concord Middle School. (Research indicates that summer reading helps mitigate the "summer slide" in students' knowledge and skills. Research also suggests that independent reading is more successful when students have a choice in selecting their books)
Please note that rising 7th and 8th graders have an additional reading assignment for English. Specific information is provided on the library website - look for the tab labeled. "Grade 7 & 8 Only".
Finally,
We are excited to share that many of the classrooms this summer in Sanborn and Peabody are going through some aesthetic changes. Many are being painted and fitted with new rugs. Because of this, both buildings will be unavailable for much of the summer. I will share an update mid July to when the buildings will be available in mid August with information about guided tours that will be available for students in both buildings in late August.
