THE LAVALAMP LIGHTERS ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW SUPPORTING MUSICIAN
The Lava Lamp Lighters is a live band made up primarily of adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. They formed the band several years ago with the support from
Community Music organisation, Beat This C.I.C.
Over the last couple of years the band have achieved so much; releasing their debut EP and playing a tonne of gigs in and around Peterborough. They are currently working on their 2nd EP and would like to get out there and perform more to wider audiences.
They are looking for someone that can support the band as a musician and music leader, which would involve attending regular weekly rehearsals and working with another Practitioner in assisting the band members with playing instruments, writing and performing songs and most importantly helping to steer the group in the right direction, which is UP!
The band preferably need someone that can either play guitar or another lead instrument, it would also beneficial for the band if the candidate could sing a note or two too.
This role is currently voluntary, however there may be the opportunity to earn as a freelance Music Practitioner going forward with either this project and other future projects with Beat This C.I.C.
If you or anyone you know is interested please contact
