Announcements

Congratulations to the coalition teams in San Benito, San Diego, and Santa Cruz for being selected to participate in Addiction Starts Here: Community Partnerships, a new 16-month learning collaborative run by our partners at the Center for Care Innovations (CCI). The goal of the program is to help existing opioid coalitions in California leverage their multi-sector collaborations to address opioid use disorder. These teams will take a deep dive into systems mapping and human-centered design, and generate new learning that can be shared with other coalitions across our state network. We look forward to following your journey in the months ahead!

Please help improve the CA Opioid Surveillance Dashboard
Do you use the state dashboard in your work? If so, gotomedia, on behalf of the California Health Care Foundation, would love to speak with you about your experience. They are conducting a research study and offering $150 for a 60-minute, online research session with those who use the dashboard. If you are interested in participating, click this link to answer a few short questions. Based on your survey response, you may be contacted by gotomedia to determine if you qualify for the study.

Resources

The California Department of Public Health’s Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health has put together a collection of resources around pregnancy and opioids. We encourage you to use their brochure, 1-pager, and 11x17 posters on risks and questions as part of your coaliton's resource materials.
