Dear <<First Name>>,
Welcome to our Newsletter for June 2019.
Once again we are half way through the year already and as usual I’m sure most of you, like myself, are not ready for tax time. It might be time to contact your accountant prior to 30 June to make sure you have all of your paperwork in order, purchase those last minute items for tax deductions or maybe even top up those super funds.
The year started very slowly with the property market and things looked pretty bleak for the housing industry in general. However, since the Federal Elections and Liberal maintaining their position in government, the housing market has increased and we look forward to this continuing into the future.
As of 1 July 2019 all property settlements will need to be conducted electronically. Tyson’s Conveyancing will certainly welcome this as it allows for faster, more streamlined settlements and clients’ funds are in their bank account within minutes of settlement. This does mean that very strict identification verification is now in place. All property transactions require each party involved in the transaction to be verified in person at our office or in person by a VOI agent.
As most of you know, we are a great supporter and sponsor of CareFlight and have a huge collection of their CareFlight bears (34 in total now). We have taken a picture of all of our cute bears to share with you in this Newsletter. I personally have had close friends and family rescued and taken to hospital by CareFlight and their brilliant staff. They are in need of support to keep their flights going and I have attached the link, if you can assist in any way.
Stay warm and healthy over the rest of the winter months. I hope you enjoy this month’s Newsletter.
