David Perry's Ordination
David will be ordained as a priest on Saturday 29th June at Salisbury Cathedral at 4.30pm.  ALL WELCOME.

NB:  Please leave plenty of time for parking because of the Armed Forces event also taking place in Salisbury that day.

Following on from the ordination, David will be preaching at the Team Service   on Sunday 30th June at St. Mary’s, West Dean. This will be at 11.00am as we are having a bring and share lunch in King George’s Hall afterwards. This is an opportunity to celebrate with David and spend time with members of the other churches in the team over lunch. Please drop food off at King George’s Hall from 10.30am.

The Winterslow Village Fair takes place on Saturday July 13th in the Village Hall.
There will in due course be numerous ways to help but
may  I draw attention to

the plant and produce stall?   We would like saleable plants especially herbaceous varieties, garden produce and jams, marmalade,  curds and chutneys.
So all you talented gardeners and cooks please get busy.
Collection of items is possible. (01980 862680)

Young People's Summer camp run by Scripture Union:
We’re getting in touch to ask if you’ll pray for LiveWires, the Scripture Union camp we’re hosting near you in Salisbury between 28th July and 4th August, and if you know any young people aged 12–15 who might be interested in joining us!

The primary focus at LiveWires is on teaching young people about God, telling them about Jesus and encouraging them to start or grow their walk with God. We also do a large range of tech related activities: video production, programming, computer graphics, web design and electronics.

The week is great fun, as well as a great opportunity for young people to learn more about God and grow in their faith. Many young people and their parents have told us of the impact it's had: just this year, one young person was baptised, and spoke about the effect LiveWires had on his life in his testimony.  For further details please visit our website livewires.org.uk or get in touch with us by email to:  leaders@livewires.org.uk

A Communion service lasting only 30 minutes takes place every Wednesday morning at Whaddon at 10am.  You would be most welcome to join the regular attendees.
