A seguito della caduta avvenuta all'inizio della seconda manche del Gran Premio della Lettonia, sei giorni fa, TonyCairoli si è lussato la spalla destra. Inizialmente gli esami avevano lasciato spazio ad un lieve ottimismo, purtroppo nei giorni a seguire la spalla non ha dato segni di grandi miglioramenti, ragione questa per la quale si è deciso di saltare il Gran Premio di Germania che si disputerà questo fine settimana sulla pista di Teutschenthal. Ulteriori esami verranno eseguiti tra due settimane per conoscere l'esatta entità del danno e, a seconda degli esiti, si deciderà se rientrare per il round successivo in Indonesia.
Following the fall at the beginning of the second heat of the Latvian Grand Prix, six days ago, TonyCairoli dislocated his right shoulder. Initially the exams had given way to a slight optimism, unfortunately in the following days there were no signs of great improvements, reason why it was decided to not compete at the German Grand Prix that will be held this weekend on the track of Teutschenthal. Further exams will take place in two weeks to know the exact extent of the damage and depending on the results, it will be decided whether to return for the next round in Indonesia.
Antonio Cairoli: "Ovviamente siamo davvero delusi da come è andata a finire con la spalla, perché volevamo essere in Germania questo fine settimana per gareggiare; mi aspettavo di avere meno dolore ma non è così e dopo ulteriori approfondimenti abbiamo scoperto qualche danno in più, per questo non mi è possibile guidare. Faremo tutte le terapie nei giorni che vengono e tra dieci giorni controlleremo di nuovo se sarà possibile essere al via in Indonesia."
Antonio Cairoli: "Of course we are really disappointed about how it turned out with the shoulder, because we wanted being in Germany this weekend for the race. I expected to be less in pain but after further investigations we discovered some more damage and it's not possible to ride. We will do all the therapies in the following days and in ten days we will check again to understand if it will be possible to ride in Indonesia."
