 VBS - Day 2
Power Launcher: Go Beyond With Boldness!

Bible Story: Queen Esther Takes a Stand (Esther 4-9)

Today we learned that just like Queen Esther, we can be bold to take a stand for what is right - not because WE are strong, but because God is with us and God's power is at work within us. Kids in elementary crews made clay bots or slime in science, crafted robots, made bold decisions in games, and ate crowns made from bagels and skittles.

Throughout the week, the Vector Verse that will be reinforced is: Glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power of work within us!
Ephesians 3:20
Participant Notes
  • You may sign out and pick up your child(ren) between 3:55 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

  • Due to adding an afternoon session this year, there will NOT be a Thursday evening program, as in previous years.

  • You should have received one To Mars and Beyond T-shirt per child registered and a CD of the VBS songs to take home and continue the fun of VBS! If you did not receive these, please let one of our staff members know.

  • Plan to join us in celebrating our new friends and faith on Sunday, July 14th at both the 8:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. services. We will be singing the VBS theme song and recapping our VBS week.  It will be a fun and meaningful time for sharing what we have experienced at To Mars and Beyond VBS!

Thank you for sharing your children with us this week! It is a joy to watch them learn about God and share His love through learning and play!
Here's the theme song for the week, "On Our Way to Mars"
