Iowa, Nevada to Launch Caucus Voting by Phone for 2020 (AP). Senate Democrats asking Republicans to help pass new election safeguards (KGO). Congressional Democrats are continuing to push the SAFE Act, which already passed on the House side.
 
Despite impasse over state funding, Pennsylvania counties are plunging forward on voting machine upgrades (Penn Live). There’s an ongoing fight in Pennsylvania about upgrading election infrastructure. Some counties are taking matters into their own hands.
