Here’s what’s happening in London.

Festival season is upon us — anyone who managed to get themselves to Glastonbury this year will know. (The post-party blues have only just about worn off.) Next step, Reading! As you dust your camping gear off and prepare for the next musical adventure, don’t forget to check out what’s going down in the London health and fitness scene this week.

🕉 Go with the Flow

Local barre studio DEFINE.London is expanding its offerings with the launch of a brand new Vinyasa yoga class at the beginning of the month. Whether you need to unwind after a long day or it’s a morning boost you’re after, their expert instructors will guide you through 50 minutes of mindful moves aimed at strengthening your muscles, improving your posture, and connecting the mind and body. Sound like your vibe? Hit up their timetable and book yourself in.

⭐️ Unroll Your Mat

Speaking of yoga, homegrown concept Yogarise opened their latest studio in Covent Garden on July 1. You can expect all of the energising classes you’ve grown to love at their flagship Peckham and Streatham venues, plus some excellent new instructors joining the team. Even better, they’re now equipped to offer Hot Yoga sessions, too. Check out their schedule and secure a spot at their new location.

📱 There’s An App For That

We’ve got some exciting news, gang. If you’ve been anxiously awaiting the moment when the Fitt London app would be available for Android, we’re here to tell you the time has officially arrived. It’s now easier than ever to find a healthy place to eat, a new workout spot, or a hiking trail to hit up. All you have to do is head to the Google Play store and download the app.

🧀 Plant-Powered Cheese

Vegans no longer have to miss out on cheese and wine night, because plant-based cheesemonger La Fauxmagerie has officially relocated, opening their new East London digs last weekend. The Cheshire Street shop is four times the size of their OG Brixton store and is serving up dairy-free versions of classics like blue cheese and camembert, along with more unusual flavours, including lavender and black cheese. Did we mention they also have a range of breads, crackers, and relishes on offer? Delish!

💅 Healthy Eats and A Bit of Self-Care

Aussie-owned health-focused eatery Farm Girl has opened up its fourth West London outpost at the Hershesons salon within Harvey Nichols’ Knightsbridge store. Now, you can grab a matcha tea with that mani or an acai bowl and that blow dry. And, with an Insta-ready interior and a menu that pops with colour, be sure to bring your selfie stick along when you stop by.

🍳 In Other News

Get ready for the cheekiest event of the year. Nando’s is holding a three-week pop-up festival in London this summer and they’re bringing their elusive brunch menu with them. Not only will you get the chance to try their Peri-Peri chicken sausage and crispy corn browns, but there’ll be live music events, DJ lessons, film screenings, and baking workshops. And if you go a bit overboard on the breakfast buffet (no judgment here), you’ll find plenty of hangout spots to veg out at. Tickets will be available from 15 July, so be sure to grab yours via the website when they go on sale.

While we’re on the topic of food, KERB is opening their first brick-and-mortar site at Seven Dials Market this summer. Aiming to bring a new kind of street food display to the Big Smoke, expect to see a curated collection of the city’s most innovative pop-up eateries, all serving exciting tastes and textures from across the globe. Sign up to their mailing list to stay in the loop, or keep an eye on their Instagram for an official opening date.
