STAG negotiates a deal to get Certificate of Origin Certificates later in the day and on the weekend at a price that doesn’t break the bank!

The restricted hours to get Certificate of Origin Certificates and the cost of getting certificates out of hours has been an issue for exporters for some time now.  The penalty cost is sometimes prohibitive and has a significant impacts on export profits.

In response to this issue, the STAG has been investigating ways that seafood exports could access an export certificate service later in the day and on the weekend.

We are really pleased to report that following extensive negotiations the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce has recently announced its new service.  This service will give east coast exporters another two to three hours each day to get their certificates at a reasonable price as well as providing a weekend and out of hours (WA time) service.

Click here to download a flyer that provides more information on the service and please feel free to contact the Export Officer at the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce directly to register your business at
reception@fremantlechamber.com.au or phone 08 9335 2711.

This is exactly why we set up the STAG – to respond to exporter issues and try to resolve them!
