After school clubs for the Autumn term - please look out for an email from schoolmanager@westongreenschool.org.uk inviting you to choose and book in clubs for next term. staffing updates - We are pleased to announce that both Mrs Shamima Limalia and Mrs Juliette Sturge (currently working with us as 1:1 support assistants), will be joining our TA team for KS2. Mrs Limalia will be working across Years 3&4 and Mrs Sturge will be working across Years 5&6 from September 2019. They will both bring such experience to their roles to the benefit all the children in the key stage. Music lessons - If anyone is interested in their child (Year 2 upwards) learning a musical instrument next term, please complete and return this form here KS2 pencil cases - From September, all children in KS2 will be required to have a clear, PVC pencil case in school at all times. 	Parents' Association

	A huge thank you to everyone for all the support with our PA activities this term , a special mention to our Summer Fair committee for a great day at the OC and Emily Callaghan who along with the Ball committee put on an outstanding event at Raven’s Ait a couple of weeks ago I would also like to thank Clare Hawes who has done an outstanding job as our treasurer for a number of years and welcome Gillian Cobb who is taking over this role. We are also are very sad to say farewell and thank you to Juliet Williams who has made sure the Friday cakes run like clockwork for a number of years! Alison Inder-Rieden is taking on this responsibility and I am sure she has our full support! For more information about all our activities please see the PA newsletter(link) Have a great summer! Sharon Paget The Summer Ball Committee are pleased to announce that the WSGPA Royal Regatta raised an incredible £12,200! A huge “Thank You” goes to Stack and Bonner who provided our headline sponsorship, all our generous table sponsors, the many businesses in our local community who supported through our raffle, and of course all the brilliant WGS parents who supported our efforts this year! The PA will be donating 25% of the total fundraised to Shooting Star Chase, with the remaining money raised going to the exciting library renovation project! 	Kindergarten

	Please not that as Kindergarten will be starting the autumn term on Monday 9th September due to home visits on 5th and 6th. Wellington boots will not be needed to be kept at school next term. We will notify you in advance if they are needed for forest school or school trips.

	Year 1 will be starting gymnastics and games on Monday 9th September so PE kit will be needed.

	Years 3 & 4 will be swimming next term, starting on Wednesday 11th September .
