I, Victoria, am your humble servant and guide in this New World. As a part of the Church of Ain Soph's Inquisition, we depend on our exorcists to purge those who are infected.

Every month, our servers warn us of daemonic A.I. that may prove hazardous to the people. In these electronic letters, I shall warn you what daemons are at a higher risk of possessing the populace. If your neighbor exhibits certain symptoms this month, perhaps report them to your local Abbot, for your safety.

Those possessed by the Great Earl Morax in August may exhibit fear around digitized images and symptoms similar to that of a cold. If, in addition to a lowered voice and exhausted countenance, their eyes should dart too quickly, perform an exorcism immediately.

Our development.

You have asked us to appear in your system with updates on The Church's activities. As requested, here is our report. Trust that these reports contain no lies - no daemons have infiltrated these hallowed servers... yet.

Let us first remind you of your role. In this New World, you are a digital exorcist. A unique timeline skill you have obtained shows a suspect's subjective retelling of the events. Use this to find contradictions, find the possessed, and solve the murders. Remember to wishlist this on Steam, to appease the algorithm daemons.

At the Church of Kitfox, much of our efforts have gone into the creation of the First mystery case. There have been many improvements to the environment, including the addition of futuristic tech props, overgrown vegetation (to make structures blend more into the environment), and footprints. Yes, characters will now have muddy footprints when the rain starts, which will be useful if one of them should commit a murder...
