StorytellingStorytelling might seem a bit out of place initially when we consider that this newsletter centers around digital marketing. But, in reality, everything in marketing comes down to a single thing:

A Story.

This story tells us two things. 

     1. What
conflict is your company solving?
     2. How can your customers partake in its
resolution?

We'll dive into the creation of your brand's story and how you can use it to maximize your impact in this month's Soulheart DMR.

A Reflection from Soulheart's Founder & CEO
Years ago, I bought my first iPhone and quickly realized the power of having a camera in the palm of your hand at all times to capture the moments you encounter on your daily journey. And thus began my own journey into photography.

What I didn't realize then (but completely do now) is I am not the most talented photographer, but I have an eye for design and an eye for moments. And when you learn how to capture those, you'll be able to tell a stronger, more engaging story.

If you have a brand, work with a brand, or are building your own brand... never forget about the power of storytelling in all its forms. Words. Visuals. Colors. Typography. Spacing. It's a true art to craft a narrative that triggers people to sign up, join, buy, belong, or subscribe.

Our world is vibrant and diverse and filled with beauty. Be sure to appreciate it. Soak it in. And use it as a reminder to always be telling the story that is going to grab the most attention and make the biggest impact.

Digital Marketing Tips
Apply these three tips and start building a stronger brand in record time.

1. Have both Consistency and Communication. If you don’t have these two traits, then you’ll lose. One is a mindset and the other is practical...and every successful business owner I know does them both well.

2. Hiring great people but putting them onto jobs without the right structure and resources to set them up for success can be a huge hindrance to growth. Always provide great
structure and resources.
3. A bunch of people ask two questions: How do we grow sales? How do we increase donations? It’s simple: Give people your attention and ask. If you need donations, there’s one more step: Show them their impact.
The YMCA of Greater Montgomery is dedicated to improving the community of Montgomery, Alabama through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. They offer a wide variety of programs and services that help them nurture the potential of kids, help people live healthier, and support neighbors who need them the most.

Healthy Living: Improving the nation’s health and well-being
Social Responsibility: Giving back and providing support to our neighbors.
