Dear Friend: Happy summer from FAMI-Alberta.

FAMI Meeting July 9, 6:30-8:30 pm

There will be a meeting Tuesday July 9 to discuss the upcoming Love You Forever 7 workshop to be held Nov. 2. As always there will also be some time to share our stories with each other.

The meeting will be held Tuesday July 9, 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Canadian Mental Health Association - Edmonton Region (CMHA-ER) Training Room:

10010 105 Street NW, Room 300
(Transition Place) Edmonton
If the door is locked, press the intercom button and stand immediately in front of the door.

No meeting in August - get out and enjoy the sunshine (hopefully)! The next meeting will be September 10 - watch for a newsletter in early September for news on the agenda. (No Newsletter in August either - the editor is on vacation!)

Upcoming Events

July 9 - FAMI monthly meeting (see above)
September 10 - FAMI monthly meeting
September 13 - social evening for FAMI members. Save the date - more details to come.
Nov. 2 - Love You Forever 7 workshop. This will be a similar format as last fall's event - groups of experts from all kinds of areas to take your questions (along with family members to give their perspectives). More details will be available in early fall.

Have you visited our website lately? There's always new material being added and updated. Most recently, the housing section was updated, based on the information presented at our mini-Love You Forever workshop last month.This should make it easier to find suitable options for your family member.
