Don’t miss the Marin Fair ending this Sunday, July 5th. It is one of the biggest fairs in the country and a model on which many others are built. There were three thousand eight- hundred entries and then approximately a thousand works of art accepted and now beautifully displayed. Add to that the usual county fair attractions of music, vendors, great food, libations, and fireworks, and it makes a great outing.
Considering the incredible quality of my fellow artists, I am happy and humbled to say that I received third place in Fine Arts (for Freedom) and a Special Award from the very prestigious Seager Gray Gallery in downtown Mill Valley (for Zimbabwe).
