Carrickfergus Community Forum is a registered Umbrella Body with Access NI. This means that we submit enhanced criminal record checks for community organisations in Carrickfergus. Access NI authorises umbrella bodies to provide these services to organisations.

Carrickfergus Foodbank will be open as normal on Wednesday 10th of July 10:00am -12 noon and CLOSED on Friday 12th of July. 
We will re-open  as normal on Wednesday 17th of July.

Funding applications and deadlines

Music for All is happy to take applications for funding and operates in the following times during the year:

Spring period
Application deadline is 1st November for funding requirement in the following January

Summer period
Application deadline is 1st February for funding requirement in April

Autumn period
Application deadline is 1st July for funding requirement in September
 

Funding Options

 

Individual Grant

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have access to musical instruments and lessons. Our Grant Application process allows us to help people fulfil their musical dreams. Young, old, regardless of personal or life challenges, we truly want music to be for all.

Community Project Funding

Many projects and initiatives take place throughout the UK that all aim to bring music to their community. Most would benefit from a “helping hand” to fulfil their potential in becoming truly sustainable music programmes.

New or Updated Funding Initiatives


Transform Foundation: Small Charities Website Grant

A funding opportunity for selected small charities with incomes below £350k annually to receive a new, best practice website built using templates funded by the Transform Foundation.

Transform Foundation: Facebook Grants


£5000 grants to charities to spend on Facebook Advertising and a free additional agency Facebook Advertising managed service through a technology grant partner, who can create the content, deploy and optimise the adverts.  They will also offer a further £10,000 grant as a follow on to organisations who prove to have the most successful ROI.

Hope for Youth NI

 
Grants of up to £5000 across NI for projects providing opportunities for young people aged 11-18 to come together from different cultural, ethnic or religious communities to work together on a creative, practical or outdoors project.

Peter Harrison Foundation: Opportunities Through Sport


Supports sporting activities or projects which provide opportunities for people who are disabled or otherwise disadvantaged to fulfil their potential and to develop other personal and life skills.

Alec Dickson Trust


Supports young people who through volunteering or community service,  Grants of up to £500 to individuals or groups of young people aged 30 or under, to help them put their ideas into action and run projects that aim to enhance the lives of others, particularly those most marginalised by society.

Key Dates for your Fundraising Diary


Hedley Foundation

Supports small to medium sized charities which work with young people. Most grants are capital or one-off in nature, although they sometimes help fund the introduction of new and innovative projects with a series of up to 3 annual grants.  Few grants exceed £5,000 and most of them go to charities where they can make an impact.

Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust: Removing Barriers to Family Life


Supporting Armed Forces Families facing challenges. Large grants will help to address substantial challenges; providing funding for transformative ideas. Medium grants will support projects that make a proven difference to Armed Forces Families and will support existing work. (Overall budget of £7.5 million.)
