Harry Potter and the Subi Voice of Youth

Muggles, witches and wizards alike, come test your knowledge of everything Harry Potter at the annual Subi Voice of Youth quiz night.
Part quiz night, part scavenger hunt - expect the unexpected in a pop up wizarding world! Get a team together and join in the fun, with free food and heaps of prizes on offer.
Costumes are compulsory and best dressed prizes are up for grabs, so get your Yule Ball best ready!
This free event is for people aged 12 to 25, and is organised by the City's volunteer youth leadership group, Subi Voice of Youth.

Portrait of homelessness

During National Homelessness Week the City of Subiaco invites you to a presentation on the challenges of homelessness in our community and the opportunities to contribute to the solution.
Guests speakers include Major Lyn Jones, Salvation Army Floreat Corps, Danny Cloghan, President St Vincent de Paul Subiaco Conference and Matt Vapor on his lived experience of homelessness.

Join Arthur Harvey from the Perth Observatory to go back to 1969 and learn all about the Apollo 11 mission.

Family astronomy night under the stars

Take a look through the Perth Observatory's portable telescopes and gaze upon the moon, planets, star clusters and nebula. BYO picnic to enjoy while you learn about the stories of the stars.
This free event is suitable for all ages from great grandparents right down to great grandchildren, but please be sure to book tickets for every attendee. |

Shaun Tan Award Exhibition open now

Visit Subiaco Library to view the top 50 artworks from the 2019 Shaun Tan Award for Young Artists.
Over 1,300 artworks from all over the state were submitted for judging this year with the top ten in each category exhibited at Subiaco Library.
Visit before Sunday 28 July to cast a vote for your favourite piece to win the People’s Choice Awards! |

NetSetGO is back
Begins Thursday 8 August |

NetSetGO is returning to Lords for another fun-filled term of introductory netball skills, activities and games for kids aged five to 10 years old.
NetSetGO offers kids the opportunity to increase their netball skills, make new friends and have fun in a non-competitive environment.
The program runs from 4pm to 5pm on Thursday evenings and registrations are now open. |

Winter clothing drive

Drop off some winter warmers for the homeless and those in need. Items including warm jumpers, jackets, socks, beanies, scarves and blankets can be dropped off at the Subiaco Library for donation to the Salvation Army. |
