Welcome to this week's issue of Baselines. 

Finals Day is fast approaching on 13 July. Please do support it if you are around, even if you come to watch one of the matches and have a drink with us! We are offering some extra activities this year including crazy golf, beat the chair (if he's not on court himself!), target practice and fastest serve. Details and sign up here We will be sending the order of play out as soon as we know who is playing, so that you can plan your day. 
We have also booked Bhaji Bhaji who will be serving a delicious mixed platter Indian supper all for £10. We have had to pre-book and pay for meals so please do sign up as soon as possible to help us with logistics!

Filming at TWCC - thank you for your patience during the filming of '83. Apparently there are some big Bollywood names up there and it is set to be the Bollywood blockbuster of 2020! We have negotiated 12 spaces in the main car park and you are welcome to use the Upper Cumberland Walk car park next week also. Please click here for full details.

TWLTC offers an extensive Adult and Junior coaching programme throughout the year. With over 50 junior and ten adult courses running throughout the week, we pride ourselves on having something for everyone. More information about our various courses can be found below:

You can request a place on our coaching programme online and one of our coaching team will be in touch to confirm it or please call the coaching team on 01892 525625 and speak to James Charman or Nicola Hudson. 

If groups are cancelled, we will email you so please keep an eye on your email. If you do not hear from us please assume that your coaching is on.
Drills night on Monday - please sign up in advance as the sessions are getting busy. Now £7. 

Coaching payment methods can be found on our website, including Direct Debit forms. There is a 10% surcharge in place for all non-Direct Debit payments for coaching. 


 
Club Championships: please direct your queries to the referee, Brian Goldsmith at bagoldsmith@hotmail.co.uk and ensure you write up the scores on the sheets in the clubhouse.  If they are not there by the deadline,  the referee will not put the winners through to the next round.

TWLTC restringing service
We have seven grass courts open this weekend - enjoy! A reminder that we host a Sunday mix-in between 2 and 5pm. Why not come along this Sunday? We serve tea and cakes in the bar afterwards.

We have a ball machine available
for hire at £5 per hour. A new battery is on order and should be in place very shortly. We will keep you posted.

Grass Courts & matches:  please check the white board outside the clubhouse before going on court at the weekend to check whether a match has been booked in advance. 

This weekend, there are matches on Saturday at 11am (Men's 3) and at 12.30pm (Men's 5) and on Sunday at  11.00am (Mixed 3) and 12.00pm Men's 4).  These matches will take place on the grass so there will be some limitation on grass court availability.
The bridge course has now come to an end and you can now play bridge in our bar. Full details here.

Finals Day: 13 July 2019 - Details here Please do support your club on this big day - a great deal of effort goes in to putting it together and we really appreciate you coming along, even if it is just for a couple of hours. We have ordered the sunshine, the hanging baskets are in full bloom and we almost know who will be playing!  We look forward to seeing you here!
