Cambridge Local First unveils new website, with the support of Cambridge Community Development.

Cambridge residents, students, and visitors now have a new destination website courtesy of Cambridge Local First. Website visitors are invited to "choose their own adventure," as they discover the hundreds of locally-owned independent businesses in Cambridge. The site features live updates from the CLF Instagram account and an integrated membership management system, among other exciting new features.

There are many people to thank for the successful completion of this project, including Adriane Musgrave, for developing the initial website project scope and grant application, Christina DiLisio, who guided us through meeting the CDD grant reporting deadlines, Susan Labandibar, CLF Board President, who channeled the initial project scope into a full website design and vision, Theodora Skeadas, new CLF Executive Director, who became the driving force behind the website development process, and last, James Graham, of Community Phone, who is the first business sponsor of the website.

So, without further ado, please check out our new website.
Our Executive Director is here to stay

After several months of interim status, the Cambridge Local First Board has voted in Theodora Skeadas as a permanent Executive Director for Cambridge Local First.

Over the past few months, Theodora has maneuvered a leadership transition, expanded the Board to 18 members with diverse skill sets and experiences, added an Advisory Council with three fantastic members (and growing), completed the website development process and launched a new website, begun our re-branding process with a clean new logo, standardized organizational processes and systems, built partnerships with stakeholders across the city, hired a summer intern from MIT, continued our dynamic social media marketing, held our first Open House, and more.
CLF Advisory Council

CLF is pleased to announce the creation of the Advisory Council, and our first three members, Marc Levy, Founder and Editor of the Cambridge Day, Reena Karasin, Editor in Chief of Scout Cambridge, and Rena Baskin, Community Liaison with Belmont-Watertown Local First.

Welcome to the CLF community, and thank you for your guidance as we tackle challenging macro forces affecting our local community.
Check out our new branding

We've recently completed a rebranding process, and are deploying our new logo and branding across our media platforms. Stay tuned as we launch this new branding.
