Instruments at the Fiddle Shop
As I mentioned earlier, Bette and I took a "buying" trip mid-June, visiting a couple of folks who had multiple violins for sale. Before the month was over, I had accumulated a good variety of fiddles: German, French and American. There are lots of really good sounding ones, so come on in and check them out. The Fiddle Shop is open for business.
I have a few guitars: a Martin D35, a Collings D2H and a Gibson J200, and am working on stocking banjos, mandolins and more guitars. I also hope to rehab some of the instruments that were damaged in the fire. It might take some time, but I hope many of them will be playable eventually.
I am always looking for good string instruments; if you have anything you want to part with, please let me know or bring it on in.
MISC: we have tuners, straps, picks, strings, rosin, capos, pickups, chin rests, shoulder rests, pitch pipes, and books on how to play each instrument, in addition to DVDs and CDs of the band.
