A Special Session of Classis Zeeland will be held on 
Sunday, August 4, 2019
for the Ordination of Jed Grooters

Service will be at North Holland Reformed Church
(12050 New Holland St, Holland, MI 49424) 

Classis Members please gather at 1:45 pm to sign the roll call and conduct any pre-service business.

Service of Installation will begin at 2:00 pm.

Jed has accepted a call to serve as associate pastor at Springs Community Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He will become a member of Classis Rocky Mountains. 

Jed became a Licensed Candidate of Classis Zeeland in May 2017. He earned a Master of Divinity and Certificate of Fitness from Western Theological Seminary.

Since ordinations are Classis events, it is desirable that as many pastors and elder delegates as possible are in attendance. Because these services are often held on Sunday afternoon/evenings, it is understood that not every minister will/can be in attendance. The Classis desires that each congregation make this meeting known to its Elders and specifically invite members of the Elder body to attend.

In an effort to ensure a quorum of 3 ministers and 3 elders as stated by the BCO (I.II.4.2), would you please reply to this email if you plan to attend as a pastor or elder delegate.
