"In Search Of Lost Time" - Marcel Proust - until 22 July.
Simon Whitfield's solo exhibition continues apace, attracting the most remarkable comment of my time at the helm thus far & from a gentlemen who had no vested interest in even venturing up two flights of stairs into the upper-upper gallery. On his return downstairs, he uttered these memorable words, " That large square painting by Simon Whitfield, of Helvellyn, I think that's the best painting I have ever seen". Imagine how that made Simon feel about his endeavours!
This Helvellyn painting is still available at time of writing.
Most days we receive artwork, be they be replacements, new work, a refresh of new-for-older stock, so it's quite difficult to keep up.
Pictures are taken (or sent over by the artist) very often by us on the iPhone, loaded onto our website as soon possible, though if you want to view the most recent activity then Instagram and Facebook are the best social media platforms to look us up on (links below).
