Hey, Youth and Families!

Youth and families,

We are fortunate to have a strong and vibrant youth program and a dedicated Youth and Family Ministry Team (YFMT).  During this transitional period, the YFMT is working hard to maintain all of our core youth programs and activities, but we need your help. In 1 Peter 4:10, we are called to be good stewards and use our gifts to serve others.  The YFMT is asking for you to prayerfully consider how you can serve and help our youth and others in our community.  We have a myriad of upcoming opportunities to serve, including fall Sunday school and Citynight events, Friday game nights, Youth week events, Weeki Wachee, and many other activities.  In order to  maintain a strong and vibrant youth program  we are asking each family to consider volunteering for 1 or 2 upcoming events. You can sign up using the links below or by contacting Andy Strelcheck (andy.strelcheck@gmail.com), Marcy Kemerer (our Interim YFMT communications leader; youthdirector@gmail.com), or any one of the YFMT members listed below.

Thank you in advance for your help in supporting our ministry.

Our youth are home and had an amazing week in Vero Beach, FL!  They shared the love of Christ by organizing and leading a Vacation Bible School for 70+ at-risk youth, hosting a cornhole tournament at a nursing home and visiting with the elderly, volunteering at two local  food banks, and playing sports and games with youth at the Dasie Hope Center.

We use all kinds of canned goods & liquids/syrups in our competitive games. We don’t eat it – we step, slide, squish and slime each other with it.
