REGISTRATION DAY - JULY 14

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on registration day Sunday July 14 in the NGHS old gym.  Please come according to the schedule below if possible, but if you need to come earlier or later, that is fine! If you are unable to attend, you must let your section leader know in advance.   

2 - 3 PM                 A - F
3 - 4 PM                 G - L
4 - 5 PM                 M - P
5 - 6 PM                 R - Z  

BAND DUES
Second payment of $200 is due at registration on July 14. If you have not paid the first installment that was due in April, that $150 is due as well.  If you cannot attend registration, please contact Elizabeth Rickwood at treasurer@northgwinnettband.org.  

Additional fees will be collected at registration for the following:

• Instrument / equipment rental - $60 
• Shoes - $38 (if needed)
• Additional show shirts - $15
• Colorguard accessories - More info coming from director
• Replacement water jugs - $10 and label $5 (if needed -- see below for more info) 

BAND SHOES
New members will be fitted for marching band shoes at registration.  These shoes are required of all marching members (color guard shoes are different).  Returning members can also order new shoes if needed. Please remember to try on your shoes to be sure they still fit! The cost is $38 and will be paid at registration.  

SPIRIT WEAR
We are working with a Suwanee business this year - one of our long-time partners & sponsors - Alphagraphics! Lots of shirts, hats, hoodies, jackets, and even a stadium blanket for those cold, late season games. We will have samples of most items at registration! 

SPORTS PHYSICALS
All marching band and color guard members are required to have a current physical on file with NGHS.  It must be valid for the entire season. Many urgent care facilities offer this for about $25, or you can see your own health care provider.  Please plan to bring your completed physical to registration day. 

SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHS
Each year, our seniors and their families are featured in the football program for senior night. We like to get an early start taking pictures on registration day! Seniors please come with your parent(s) to registration day so we can get as many photos done as possible. Seniors will be in their band uniforms. Many parents choose to wear NG spiritwear or other red, black or white clothing.  

WATER JUGS
New members will each receive a personalized water jug as part of their registration.  Returning members who have changed sections will receive a new label. Returning members who would like a replacement water jug and label can pay $15 for a new one ($5 for a new label if you just need that). Parent volunteers are welcome to have one as well for $15.  Anyone needing a replacement jug, please send preferred first and last name and section (or parent volunteer role) to president@northgwinnettband.org. 

UNIFORM HELP
We will need a few extra parents to help with uniform fitting at registration.  If you helped last year, or are new to band and are interested in helping with uniform fittings or some simple sewing, please email MaryAnn Toomey at uniforms@northgwinnettband.org.

FUNDRAISING
Fundraising is critical to maintaining a top notch band program!  We need a parent (or parents) to take the lead on our 2019-20 fundraising efforts.  We are fortunate to live in a generous business community -- so many organizations are happy to help our students, they just need to be asked! FINANCIAL HARDSHIP
If your family is experiencing financial hardship, we do not want that to prevent your student from participation.  Please email Elizabeth Rickwood at treasurer@northgwinnettband.org or Susan Cangelosi at president@northgwinnettband.org or talk with Mr Gilbert to make arrangements.
