The Range app
Summer can be a difficult time for families who rely on free and reduced-price meals during the school year. Free meals exist for school-aged youth, they’re just harder to find during the summer months. Caravan Studios built Range, a free app that locates these free meals served at community-based organizations across the country. Please share Range with families and with service providers who work with youth. You can download and print free materials from the Range site to display and distribute. www.Rangeapp.org

Build your tech capacity
You may have noticed that Caravan Studios--the team that developed the Safe Shelter Collaborative--is a division of TechSoup. In a nutshell, TechSoup is a nonprofit that helps other nonprofits and libraries build tech capacity. This takes many forms, and one popular way this happens is through acquiring donated and discounted software and hardware that your nonprofit might be eligible to benefit from. If your agency isn’t yet a member, find out how to become one! TechSoup also provides a LOT of free resources like articles and webinars to help bolster your programs and grow your community.
