East Coast Tasmania Paddling Getaway

Hi paddlers,

We'd like to invite you on a Paddling Getaway to Tasmania's East Coast this November! We couldn't think of a better time of year, or a better location, to take you on a surfski paddling adventure in Tasmania. In between spring and summer, Tasmania's East Coast is at its best. Calm mornings and afternoon sea breezes are increasingly common, swell patterns are moderate, the Eastern Australian Current is pushing further south bringing warmer waters and migrating whales, and the surrounding countryside is green with new spring growth. With a backdrop of pure white beaches and granite headlands tinged orange with lichen, this is a special place to paddle!

This is one of our most popular Tasmanian-based Getaways, offering participants a unique mix of surfski adventures, spectacular coastlines, coaching & mentoring, relaxation, friendship, food and wine. Ranging between the Chain of Lagoons and the Freycinet Peninsula, we've extended the 2019 edition of this Getaway by an extra day to fully explore the area.

All transport, main meals and accommodation will be provided during our East Coast Tasmania Paddling Getaway, and we welcome both local and visiting paddlers for this trip. This Getaway would suit early-stage and intermediate paddlers wanting to venture into new areas, or anyone building up to one of our interstate Getaways in December, January and February.

Please read on for more information...
