PARENT TEACHER MEETING
Please note that individual subject teachers will be available on TUESDAY 16 JULY from 17:30 to 20:00 in the KEMP HALL, to meet with parents and their daughters regarding academic progress.  Please remind your daughter to make the necessary appointments with teachers you would like to see. Girls must accompany their parents to these meetings in full school uniform or tracksuit.

Tickets for both main events this term, The Armed Man and 12 Angry Jurors, are available online from Quicket. Cash and Snapscan payments can be made in the Operations and Marketing Office. Don't miss out!

Sports News and Results 11 July 2019


All Winter Sport continues as per the Term 2 timetable as we head into a very busy second half of the Winter season. Registers for all Social and Team sport stays the same. Please continue to support us by informing the Sports Department or the relevant Teacher-in-Charge well in advance should your daughter need to be excused from a sport session.

Water Polo tour to Serbia and Montenegro

 A group of Grade 9 Rustenburg girls set off for Montenegro on 11 June on a trip-of-a-lifetime water polo tour. Read more...

Music News


During the holiday members of the Jazz Band attended to the Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Festival in Makhanda. It was a memorable experience as the girls were involved in several of the Jazz groups. They also attended several of the shows which were in their own word “incredible”. The girls were accompanied by Ms Thorne and Mr Buitendag.


Kyknet Sing in Harmonie Choir competition

On 8 June 2019 the Chamber Choir took part in the Kyknet Sing in Harmonie Choir competition.
They sang Psalm 23 by Franz Schubert and Vela!, a Zulu song arranged by Andre van der Merwe.
They had the adjudicators in tears and received a standing ovation. The choir managed to go through to the finals at the Hugo Lambrechts Auditorium which will take place on 17 and 18 August. This will be broadcasted on Kyknet channel 146.

World Challenge India

During the June/July holidays fifteen of my fellow students and I, accompanied by Ms Thompson and Ms Viljoen, embarked on one of the most incredible journeys of our lives. The world challenge group of 2019 travelled to Northern India from the 13th to 28th June. Read more...

Eastern Cape Outreach Program 2019

On 16 June, thirteen Rustenburg girls set out to help bring some change to rural parts of the Eastern Cape. Accompanied by students from Rondebosch Boys', Springfield, Herschel, Parel Vallei and Rhenish, we worked tirelessly for eight days at Tyali High School in the Kentani District with our mission to help tutor local Matric and Grade 11 students.
