   Who:   Anyone attending or supporting the Youth Mission Trip

   What:  A special Blessing and Sending Forth during the worship services as we go to Ironton, Ohio, to live out the mission of Micah 6:8!

   When:  Sunday, June 30, at the 9:30 and 11:00 am worship services - choose one or both

   Where:  Church of the Saviour

   Why:     It's not just us.  We are representing so many from our church - donors, prayers, preparers - it's an opportunity for them to officially send us with a blessing from God to go and serve in their name and in God's in southern Ohio.

   How:    Just come for worship!

Stand-In for Homeless Children

In the 2017-18 school year, there were a reported 2,972 homeless students attending the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

Your presence can help shine a spotlight on their need.

Church of the Saviour is joining the City Mission in Cleveland's Public Square for the Stand-In for Homeless Children. There will be live worship, prayer, food trucks, words from city and church leaders, and activities for all ages. We'll be taking the church bus and other group transportation from COTS.

Breathe Respite!

   What:    Give families of kids with special rights a break by hanging out with their kids for a couple hours on a Friday night.  These kids and families are amazing.

   Why:     We are able to help families find just a little space that they couldn't otherwise get.  Space to go on a date or to run errands or to pay the bills or to take a nap or whatever they need.

   Who:    Youth and friends in grades 6-12 who are signed up to serve.

   When:   Friday, July 19, 5:15 - 9:00 pm. 
Dinner for volunteers at 5:15 so we can be ready at 5:45.

   Where:  Meet and pick up inside the Great Hall (we need to keep the lobby free.)

   Finally:  While we encourage youth to participate in all of our service opportunities, this happens to be an event where we need every youth volunteer to WANT to be there to serve.  This is a voluntary thing where we have limited ability to help keep our volunteers "on task".  If you'd like your son or daughter to participate even though they are reluctant or their primary motivation is to hang out with their friends, we invite you as the parent to please sign up and serve alongside them (a cool thing to do).

We are excited to have such a great group eager to care for our neighbors!

It's back!  Hang out with kids with special rights and their typical siblings while their parents take a break.  Contact Laura Moseley at lmoseley@cotsumc.org if you'd like to serve through this great ministry.

A completed COTS Medical Info & Permission Slip is required for each youth and is valid for the school year.  Please help us by having friends' parents complete the waiver.
