Our last Justice Series Movie for 2019 is Seattle is  Dying, which is a documentary by KOMO News Seattle's Eric Johnson, who wanted not to demonize those who are struggling with addiction and homelessness and mental illness, but to ask the question, "Why aren't we doing more? Why don't we have the courage to intervene in lives that are, in the face of a grave sickness, reeling out of control?" He explores the reasons for addiction and homelessness, and potential solutions. The problems Seattle is facing are faced by most towns across the United States, and so offer lessons and solutions we could all use. Seattle is Dying will be shown tonight, June 28th, at 7:00 pm in the media/meeting room.
