HOT LINKS

What we're reading this week

Miranda: An interesting article based on a study of how people spot fake images online and which factors matter the most.

Ben: Ada Rose Cannon wrote a lovely explainer for Samsung Internet Dev of all the different ways that website designs can go wrong if they're built around the assumption that user's browsers will only be specific sizes.

Josh: Earlier this week, Flywheel announced that they are being acquired by WPEngine. Don't worry; pricing and plans won't change just yet. Hopefully this will bring some exciting new features and streamline processes between both platforms.

Kay: I'm looking forward to learning more about how to engage audiences in a two-way relationship with people-powered journalism through this free course taught by Jennifer Brandel of Hearken.

Paola: NewsMatch is coming! Are you ready? Donations to non profit newsrooms reached a record high in 2018 and the trend expects to continue in 2019.

Inndy: I have a new cousin! Dragonfly is a flying robot that will visit Titan in 2034.
