Clarity 101

June had loads of changes and things happening. Two of the most significant changes in my life would probably be the following:
Up until recently I was in the fortunate position of being paid a salary from some of my friends’ company. This was a temporary arrangement from the beginning and the time for that arrangement had come to an end. I’m ever so GRATEFUL for the grace season they created for me to be able to focus on the vision that I’ve been carrying in my heart for Kingdom Culture for the last 12 years. I have been trusting God to provide the shortfalls in my income in any case, all that is happening now, is I’m trusting Him to cover all my needs, supernaturally. I would greatly appreciate it, if you would partner with me in prayer to trust God for provision.
On Monday evening, 17 June 2019, Frans and myself were scouting for new outreach spots, because the homeless are always migrating. Even more so with the infamous serial killer operating in Pretoria at the moment, targeting the homeless. We were actually very far from our normal outreach spots, but we took a few wrong turns and got lost, driving ourselves into a mugging. I’m extremely thankful for God’s protection in that situation and that we didn’t get hurt. All that was lost was our cell phones. This event gave me more clarity about what God’s heart is for His people and I’m also more motivated to introduce more people to Jesus than ever before. I’ve asked God for the lives of those that mugged us, to become part of our evangelism teams, as I know they don’t know Jesus and the only reason they did it, was for survival. Please partner in prayer and action with us, to preach the kingdom of God to anyone around you that doesn’t have a relationship with the one true living God!

Current
We have had services for the homeless every Sunday, since the beginning of June. We have seen incredible things happen. The hunger after God’s word is precious. The guys sometimes tell us to not only teach from the Word because they want more Rhema revelation too!
We focus on creating a culture of worship, prayer, teaching and we are also training the homeless how to pray for one another. We are seeing the sick healed and delivered. We are excited to see how God is establishing His culture in the city, within our lives.
- OUTSURANCE Winter Warmer project!
We were joined by the OUTsurance staff to share some love and warmth with the homeless guys. They handed out 150 bags filled with blankets, socks, beanies, Vaseline and some nice warm soup and bread. We saw how the OUTsurance staff with our team took to the streets; prayer and encouragement to all people! There are so many beautiful stories to be told.

We needed to relocate our outreach spot because the people are seeking out big groups to sleep in. Strangely enough, many people returned to Church Square. Therefore we are back there until we know where to go next.

Recently we were joined by a cell group from one of the larger churches in Pretoria. It was so beautiful to see how the group engaged with our homeless friends. We had plenty of words of knowledge that night and God touched people on various levels.
One of the guys gave his life to Jesus and got baptised in the Holy Spirit. He was speaking in tongues by the time he walked away. In my experience, I’ve seen how people who walks with the Holy Spirit on this level, are more effective in their everyday lives and as for our homeless friends, they get rid of the substance abuse more easily.
God also healed some with cataracts on their eyes and a man with an ear problem that threw him off balance! #Jesusisking
We have come up with a list of dream gear for the camera equipment that we want to use to try and document more of what God is doing on the streets with the people. We are praying into this now.

Prayer points:
- I’m praying for the salvation of the men that mugged us. I truly believe that they can be part of our evangelism teams.
- Financial provision on a personal level and ministry level.
- Worship Centre – Outpouring of the Holy Spirit
- It is especially heavy on my heart this year to explore a skill development centre and get it going to have a lasting effect. For connections and “know how” for it to be established.
- We are trusting for financial breakthroughs so that we can put more guys through drug rehab (a 12 Month program). Adopt a “Junky” Giving back a Person
- Pray for me. I need wisdom to do everything that God is placing on my heart. Time management and financial management in particular. I want to be a good steward of what is given to me to be done.
- We are trusting God to clean the city of all foreign gods and practices that does not honour Him.
- Protection from witchcraft that is launched against myself and my teams & their loved ones.
- Hands and feet to help connect the homeless to employment and skills development opportunities.
- I am praying for a base to work from with the homeless, so that we can work on their skill levels and find jobs for them.
- I’m trusting for property where I can base missionaries & have a safe place for the people, we help off the streets to find their feet again.
- That more people will start to pray & fast for revival in our nation.
