DWELL is an empowerment programme enabling patients with type 2 diabetes to access tailored support giving them mechanisms to control their condition & improve their wellbeing. A local support network & community directory provide patient benefit.

The main story

Diabetes is a long term non communicable disease of huge societal & economic concern not just a clinical issue. Type 2 diabetes is acquired in later life & can be successfully controlled through healthy lifestyle choices.

Research shows that intensive self-management is required with currently no standard approach. Initiatives to increase effective, low-cost self-management are essential to the sustainability of treatment.

Nano4Sports

Two smart textile projects with different sensor technologies were validated in collaboration with two Belgium universities. The projects focussed on cyclists' lower back biomechanics and agility testing in a generic sports population.

Skillvol

A new innovative sensor technology tracking your physical metrics which allows to collect and retrieve scientifically validated data for team sports. Skillvol supports you to grow as an individual and supports your team to win more games.

Co-innovate in Sport

On the 4th and 5th of July a collaboration by the European Platform for Sport Innovation will explore innovations in relation to new technologies in the sports ecosystem.
