Halloween season is a'coming!

If you're reading this newsletter, you may well be of the opinion that it's already time to start ramping up for Halloween adventures!  Indeed, the ParaCon season has started & I've had the opportunity to visit a handful of haunted locations across the country.  In this newsletter, you'll see some of what we've been up to including...

  • Visiting haunted sites in Oahu, Hawaii
  • Taking an alphabetical look at some great paranormal topics, A-Z
  • You'll get a discount code to use on haunted history walking tours across the Midwest
  • A look at another way to enjoy "Stranger Things!"

When most people think of Hawaii, they naturally think of bright rainbows, big waves and beautiful beaches.  Indeed, that is accurate.  However, every town, every culture, has its lore and tragedies.  Hawaii is no different.  This past February, I was able to escape the chilliness of the mainland to head out to a place I once called home - Oahu.  Though the trip may have been centered around bringing the love of my life to my favorite places in order to propose (SHE SAID YES!), we still took a ghost tour from the wonderful guide, Lopaka Kapanui.  Check out more about Lopaka here, listen to him on an amazing episode of the "See You on the Other Side" podcast & don't forget to clear our schedule to a visit to the Hawaii ParaCon July 19-21 of this year.

With a rainbow over Diamondhead Mountain, it’s easy to overlook Kapiolani Park where, like the haunted Gettysburg battlefields, the screams of ancient battles are still heard along with the visual apparitions of Hawaiian warriors.
The goddess Pele appears on cliffs over Makapu'u Beach (one of my own personal favorite haunts). This area is also home to the flying God who manifests giant fireballs over the ocean, called Akua’lele.  Clicking the image will take you to more images of this site.

Paranormal A-Z
Taking some inspiration from the "See You on the Other Side" podcast, I too decided to do a daily A to Z challenge.  However, instead of blogging daily, I did a live video stream on YouTube, allowing live visitors to chat and interact with me as I recorded.  Topics started out as "A is for Archer Avenue," "B is for Bachelor's Grove," "C is for (haunted) Cemeteries" and so on.  Subscribe to us on YouTube to stay current on our events, latest videos and live videos.  Below is a sampling of some of my favorite A-Z entries of the first half of the alphabet.

E is for Elizabeth Short, Elisa Lam & Emma Voelcker

F is for the Flying Dutchman

G is for Ghost Hunting!

H is for Harry Houdini
