  • On Saturday, August 3rd, WORDfest magic is coming to Burleson! Register now for WORDfest Southwest — an unmissable day of classes, exhibitors, authors, activities, games, and prizes for writers of all stripes.
     
  • Stage Writers and Brighter Tomorrows are hosting a playwriting competition to promote awareness and prevention of domestic and teen dating violence to the North Texas community. Through the competition, three to five plays will be selected to receive staged readings, and one playwright will be awarded a $500 cash prize. The deadline to enter is Friday, August 16, 2019.
